Norton Commons: One of Louisville's Sweet Spots

As a realtor, I have the unique opportunity to see alot of properties in various areas and communitites in Louisville and the surrounding counties. One of my favorite neighborhoods is Norton Commons. It has a great atmosphere and a huge amount of ammenities that appeal to many different people in almost any stage of life. It offers beautiful architecture, many common areas, a pool and playground, a town center that has adorable shops, offices and restaurants, and even a seasonal weekly farmer's market. There is a huge master plan that you can vheck out for further information (www.nortoncommons.com) or message me and we can check it out!

The homes vary in size and range from large single family homes, to townhomes to condominiums!

Adorable street names too! The above photo is of Meeting Street! :)

A new pizza joint looks yummy!

You can't miss the adorable Carmen's Cupcake shop!

There are even doctors offices (like the above pediatrician) within walking distance!

The neighborhood pool house

As you can see, Norton Commons is one of Louisville's many great neighborhoods!

www.longcreekway.com

Let me first say that I am a realtor with Semonin Realtors and that I do not in ANY way represent this home for sale. That being said, I am a friend of the seller and wanted to help them get as much reach as possible while they try and sell their beautiful (jaw-dropping) home by-owner.
It is located in the Enclave section of Lake Forest and sits on a stunning 1.44 (approx) acre lot. Six bedrooms, 7 baths and too many GORGEOUS things to mention! Check it out and pass it on! The website created by the seller is www.longcreekway.com I wish them the best of luck selling it on their own! :)

Keep Quiet and Savor

Lately I feel as if I am going through the morions with everything and can't seem to take the time to enjoy anything. halfway through one piece of my hectic day, I am already thinking about whether I am on time for the next activity, do I have what I need for the kid's practice, what's for dinner tonight (crud...gotta run to Kroger, too!), did I call back that client, did I wash the girl's uniforms for chapel... you get it. I need to SLOW down, keep quiet and savor...

Sharpies and Beam

Last weekend, we decided to head out to the house to do some cleaning and brought along a sharpie. We knew that drywall was starting to go up the following week, so we wrote notes on the framing to each other. It was really special and the kids had a ball!

Fall is in the air :)

Fall is in the air! I am pretty much a summer girl, but this year I am ready for the fall. I yearn for jeans and sweaters, curling up on the couch under a blanket and pink cheeks on my kids!

There is something about Fall... It is just the perfect temperature, there is change in the air and it just brings the feeling of Thankfullness.

Tha apple picking begins and the kids get excited about their various field trips!

The leaves begin to change and it warns us that another year has almost passed!

Football has started and hot chocolate mix and marshmallows are stocked in the pantry!

It makes me want to take a walk outside and actually stop to look at what God has made around me and thank him for the many blessings this year has given me. I have so much to be thankful for, so much to look back on and learn from, and so much to leave behind from the year and move on to the next. This year has been a long road. I have grown as a person. I have a renewed and magically strengthened faith in God that has blessed my family in so many ways. I have a marriage that is better than it has ever been and 4 kids that I thank God for everyday. All these things are not easy...no one promised they would be...but worth it. With fall comes change...and I am embracing it all!

So Pinteresting!

Let me start with saying it is more than an obsession. PINTEREST is flat out the best thing since sliced bread. (I bet I could even find a picture of sliced bread on PINTEREST and pin it!) If you haven't begun to slip into the world of PINTEREST, I warn you. It is quite fun and quite addictive. It is my go-to for pictures, recipe ideas, party favors, outfit inspiration, but mostly, quotes. The quotes inspire me and are often great to put into a card or on a lunch napkin for the kid's school lunches. If you haven't be on it yet, email me (k.hostutler@insightbb.com) and I will send you an invite. You have to either request or be invited and it takes a bit to get a response. I am sure you will LOVE it too! www.pinterest.com

Shake it up!! :):)

We have pink!! Yay! The insulation is going up! Drywall is delivered!

It is starting to look like a house on the inside!

I am thrilled to see the shake go up also! It needs to be painted to match the siding, but it is looking great and adding alot of dimension to the house!

The siding is slowly going up! I am looking forward to seeing it this weekend after more progress.

The charcoal windows have the pop we were looking for against the light exterior.

I could not be more blessed or excited to be given the opportunity to build a home. I am so thankful to my husband who has loved watching me enjoy this so much and for working so hard to provide for us.
